希西家王的禱告 (列王紀下19)

【列王記下19:15-19】

15 希西家向耶和華禱告說：「坐在二基路伯上耶和華以色列的神啊，你是天下萬國的神，你曾創造天地。And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: "Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

16 耶和華啊，求你側耳而聽！耶和華啊，求你睜眼而看！要聽西拿基立打發使者來辱罵永生神的話。Give ear, Lord, and hear; open your eyes, Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to ridicule the living God.

17 耶和華啊，亞述諸王果然使列國和列國之地變為荒涼，It is true, Lord, that the Assyrian kings have laid waste these nations and their lands.

18 將列國的神像都扔在火裡；因為他本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木頭石頭的，所以滅絕他。They have thrown their gods into the fire and destroyed them, for they were not gods but only wood and stone, fashioned by human hands.

19 耶和華我們的神啊，現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使天下萬國都知道惟獨你耶和華是神！」Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God."

當你快要失去之時~~~

1. 在禱告中承認一切原都屬於神的

2. 在禱告中交託所面對的挑戰艱難

3. 在禱告中呼求神按著祂的名顯出榮耀來

上帝的回應~~~

1. 眼前的困難不會是你結束的時刻

2. 根基繼續往下扎根必會再有興旺的時刻

3. 失去的必歸回因為神有顆熱愛你的心

4. 神必保護你因祂紀念與你所立的約

【列王記下19:29-34】

29 「以色列人哪，我賜你們一個證據：你們今年要吃自生的，明年也要吃自長的；至於後年，你們要耕種收割，栽植葡萄園，吃其中的果子。"This will be the sign for you, Hezekiah: "This year you will eat what grows by itself, and the second year what springs from that. But in the third year sow and reap, plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

30 猶大家所逃脫餘剩的，仍要往下扎根，向上結果。Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above.

31  必有餘剩的民從耶路撒冷而出；必有逃脫的人從錫安山而來。耶和華的熱心必成就這事。For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. "The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

32 「所以，耶和華論亞述王如此說：『他必不得來到這城，也不在這裡射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不築壘攻城。Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the king of Assyria: " 'He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow here. He will not come before it with shield or build a siege ramp against it.

33 他從哪條路來，必從那條路回去，必不得來到這城。這是耶和華說的。By the way that he came he will return; he will not enter this city, declares the Lord.

34 因我為自己的緣故，又為我僕人大衛的緣故，必保護拯救這城。』」I will defend this city and save it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant.
