【使徒行傳2:34-35】
大衛並沒有升到天上，但自己說：主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳。【NIV】For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." '
【羅馬書16:20】賜平安的神快要將撒但踐踏在你們腳下。願我主耶穌基督的恩常和你們同在！【NIV】The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
【以弗所書6:13】所以，要拿起神所賜的全副軍裝，好在磨難的日子抵擋仇敵，並且成就了一切，還能站立得住。【NIV】Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
烤蕃薯重點區: 大衛透過這種描述方式，表達神終必使我們的仇敵屈服在我們的面前。撒旦必成為再來君王的腳凳，我們強大的耶穌已經勝過死亡，從死裏復活，如今死亡，罪的權勢和撒旦都被耶穌踩在腳下，撒旦已經屈服在耶穌面前，成了耶穌的腳凳。 因著耶穌基督，我們得以將撒旦踐踏在腳下，靠著耶穌所肆的權柄，我們得以制伏撒旦的權勢。
